Partner events added life to MATECIA: WADE ASIA Architecture Conference and India Interior Retailing (IIR) dealers Conference. IIR conference was packed with India’s top Retail Leaders, Brands and experts. It was inaugurated by top industry leaders, Mr Shiv Prakash Mittal, Chairman, Green Panel Industries Ltd; Mr. Prakash Lohia, MD, Merino Industries Ltd; and Mr N K Agarwal, Chairman, Action Tesa (Balaji Action Buildwell), along with other industry conglomerates.

Architecture Conference saw a superb line-up of top architects & designers from all over India, some of the names are Shimul Javeri Kadri, Yatin Patel, Pallavi Dean, Shabnam Gupta, Kohelika Kohli, Nitin Killawala, Prem Nath, Manjit Bhullar, and hundreds of other design leaders and dignitaries.

SURFACES REPORTER Architects’ Lounge was an aesthetically designed space for architects. Several thousands of architects flocked the lounge and explored MATECIA INNOVATION ZONE for new products and art, curated by designers, Manjeet Bhullar, Paul Sandip, Manishi Aggarwal, Monita Patel and Anhad Bhullar.

Apart from several thousands of designers as visitors, 1200+ architects submitted for awards. 200 were shortlisted. LIVE jury presentations happened for 25 Project categories in two days. Final Architecture Award ceremony was hosted by celebrity presenter Mandira Bedi.

MATECIA MATERIAL & TECHNOLOGY Seminar was hosted in the Plywood Pavilion, a special area created for OEMS and dealers to visit and source from hundreds of plywood manufacturers from all over India.

Eye-catching displays of interior products and architecture materials were accompanied by workshops on materials like Paper HoneyComb Panels-Workshop by Hexpressions Abhimanyu Singh & Shilpi Dua from Jaipur; Coloured Concrete workshop by Ar Siddharth Mahim Bansal, Chandigarh; Lippan Art workshop by Shibani Jain, Mumbai. People also enjoyed Fractals Interactive installation by Ar Abeer Fatima from Hyderabad.

For Dealers, Manufacturers and Showrooms, OEMS and PMCs, MATECIA means business, and an ecosystem to grow connections, source products, and get industry knowledge, all at one point.

Architects visit MATECIA to attend WADE ASIA conference, explore new materials, and check out the Innovation zone and also to do some hands-on workshops with materials.
